Synopsis:
Once Upon a Time in the Apocalypse was a film that began on and on and blabbered its way to nothing anywhere... Poor acting, a disjointed narrative, and a lengthy, dull drag from stem to stern. That's what you'd get if you invited a group of neighborhood preppers to go out and act out their end-of-the-world visions. There's so many flaws in Once Upon a Time in the Apocalypse.
A significant blunder: how could a person who is shot in the leg and has an arrow in his chest go after normal individuals? Moving up hills to take them down.
Why would you shoot him in the leg and not kill him? There are so many people. It's a waste of time.
Daughter's a complete imbecile. Her pacifist tendencies were a huge blunder in this shiat performance. Think she forgot that her mother was murdered by a stranger 10 years ago?
I give the trailer a "lower than the flaming pits of hell" grade due to the horrible edits, scenes that contribute nothing to the real story or plot, and the world's worst rap tune. I was hoping that this movie would become more intriguing, but that never did. The acting was poor, the narrative was flimsy, and I'm thinking the production was way under six figures. In other words, I'll never get back my hour and a half.
It was almost like a medieval. The doomsday aspect had no impact at all. Except to create an apology for the wild west men's lack of decent etiquette. If it's the end of the road, you don't have to do anything but whatever you want. But wanting isn't getting, and a hard, rapidly self-appointed sheriff shoots the bad men as soon as he spots them.
The film then concludes. Because the doomsday has arrived.
