Synopsis:
In 12 O’ Clock Ram Gopal Verma appears to have dived into a "mature man network" with his cast. As such, the performances are adequate, but no one stands out. 12 O’ Clock opens with a series of random and unrelated murders in Mumbai, and detectives are at a loss for what to do.
Furthermore, Gauri is suffering from sleepwalking episodes, in which she wakes up at midnight and goes around the home for a few minutes. She appears to recall experiencing an unnerving dream in her sleep the morning following such an occurrence. Gauri's family and even a close friend begin to notice her becoming more reclusive.
It's evident that something is wrong with her condition as her sleepwalking experience finishes with her family discovering her locked up in a small cupboard one night. Gauri's father, Rao, is concerned about her health and resolves to have her examined. But a visit to a doctor whose priorities appear to be somewhere else yields no meaningful prognosis.
The changes in Gauri's behaviour become more noticeable. She accosts her mother in an unusual manner one afternoon. Then soon reverts to her normal nature, with no knowledge of the episode. Gauri is clearly possessed at this point.
Rao's well-being begins to suffer as he notices her deteriorating state. He brings her to see an exorcist named Baba, but things don't go well. Rao then takes Gauri to see Debu, a well-known psychiatrist who diagnoses her with DID (Dissociative Identity Disorder) and promises Rao that she would be OK. Meanwhile, the unsolved spate of random deaths in Mumbai continues.
