Synopsis:
SAS: Red Notice comes so closer to being entertaining that it's a shame it's let down by a bad narrative, sloppy directing, and a plethora of army tropes that could fill a dozen Call Of Duty cutscenes. The action is mediocre in SAS – Red Notice, and Ruby Rose's villain is over-the-top. But it's interesting to see the picture cater to America's perception of Britain: the hero is named Tom Buckingham and owns a stately mansion.
There is undoubtedly an audience for this type of picture - and there is a sizable one. But SAS: Red Notice only gives the conventional, the expected, and the cliched.
We meet the Black Swans, a vicious private military group led by Wilkinson's Lewis and his two adult children, while a slow Tom Wilkinson voiceover contemplates on the nature of psychopathy and if someone wired as such is capable of love. Grace is Lewis's right hand; she's cold, shrewd, and not afraid to get her hands dirty. Ollie, on the other hand, is a violent thug.
The Swans arrive at a pipeline construction site in Tbilisi, Georgia. Where they're ordered to evacuate a community that's obstructing work by Clements. A slimy British military higher-up with the prime minister's ear. The ensuing slaughter, which was seen on video. Forced the government to either reveal its part in outsourcing the Swans or try to put the mercenaries out of business.
Twist in Story
Tom and Sophie take the Euro to Paris, where he planned to propose. But things go away when Grace and her Black Swan gang seize the train in the channel tunnel. Tom is on the loose in the tunnel.
Playing cat and mouse with Swan henchmen and talking with his SAS comrade Declan as he looks for a way to free Sophie, capture Grace, and maybe save the rest of the captives. And as Tom continues to creep about, plucking off Grace's apparently infinite supply of thugs one by one. Another part of her operation arises, implicating Clements, the government, and Brit Gaz even more.
